FeedbackFlow

Widget workflow

Learn about the FeedbackFlow widget workflow.

Once the FeedbackFlow widget is set up on your website, you can start collecting feedback from your users. This guide will help you understand how the widget works and how it complements your feedback collection process.

When a user interacts with the widget, they can submit feedback in the form of a suggestion or a bug report. This is what happens next:

  1. The feedback is sent to the FeedbackFlow server where it is converted into an item.
  2. The item is added to the project's roadmap under the In Review lane.
  3. The project manager or team lead reviews the item and moves it to the Backlog lane or deletes it if it is not relevant.
  4. The developer picks up the item and moves it to the In Progress lane.
  5. Once the item is completed, it is moved to the Completed lane.
  6. The item can now be added to the changelog.

We added the In Review stage to ensure that the feedback is reviewed before it is added to the project's roadmap. Especially when the roadmap is public, it is essential to filter out irrelevant items.
